Dance S’More Packing List
WHAT TO BRING TO CAMP
Required:
- Digital or paper copy of COVID vaccine card
- At least three rapid COVID tests
- Plenty of masks (preferably N95 / KN95 / FFP2 or other equivalent)
Highly recommended:
- Water bottles with your name on them
- Community snacks: we’ll pool these together and serve them to campers at breaks. These should be shelf-stable for several days. Fresh fruit is welcome.
- Clothing for hot and cold weather. Bring plenty of changes of clothing for dancing. It’s August and it will be warm during the day, but may be cooler in the evenings and early mornings.
- Shoes for dancing: comfortable with clean, non-marking soles to protect the wood dance floor
- Shoes for wearing around camp/hiking
- Beach wear – water shoes, swimsuits, beach towels.
- Sunscreen and sun hats
- Bedding (sleeping bag/blankets, twin or flat sheet to cover the cabin bunk mattress, pillows)
- Foam or Thermarest-type pad for extra comfort as desired (cabin bunks have foam mattresses)
- Flashlights – paths are dimly lit
- Personal toiletries – please keep scents to a minimum
- Shower towels
- Any medications that you may need, in child-proof containers
- Insect repellent – especially wasp-sting treatment
Optional & strongly encouraged extras:
- Costumes, hats, and other fun dance accessories
- Books, board games, and decks of cards
- Bikes (& helmets!)
- Musical instruments, music books, and sheet music
- Floaties, chairs, and watercraft for the beach. Camp has canoes, “noodles,” and basic life-jackets.
