Join Friends Old and New for the Lady of the Lake Fall Dance and Music Weekend. It is one of the longest continuously running contra dance camps in the entire Northwest. Fall Weekend was founded by Penn Fix and friends in 1981, and it has been held every year at Camp N-Sid-Sen on the shores of beautiful Lake Coeur d’Alene ever since.

Click here for the year-by-year camp history.

This year we have a great staff lined up:

  • The Stringrays, with Rodney Miller, Max Newman, and Stuart Kenney.
  • Lisa Greenleaf, caller
  • Floating Crowbar, with Don Thomsen, James Hunter, Rick Rubin and Morgan Andersen.
  • Maldon Meehan, teaching Irish dancing

Special 2019 Event – Dance Forum

In addition to our regularly scheduled fantastic program, we will also be holding a Dance Organizers’ Forum during the weekend, with opportunities to meet together as community leaders to discuss ideas/issues/ways to support each other. The Executive Board of CDSS will be here to meet and discuss with us. Mention this program in the comments when you register! For more information, connection, and agenda planning please email Penn Fix at jpfix3@gmail.com.
